§ 12-27-8-2 — Action; court having jurisdiction; money damages for willful or wanton violations

Indiana·Art. 27 RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS BEING TREATED·Ch. 8 Remedies
(a)An individual whose rights were violated or a person authorized by statute to act on the individual's behalf may bring an action.
(b)An action under this section shall be brought in a court that has jurisdiction.
(c)In an action under this section, money damages may be awarded only for willful or wanton violation of the rights recognized by this article. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-14-1.6-10(1).]
