Text
(a)The sheriff shall take a receipt from the
superintendent of the state institution or community mental health
center to which the individual is delivered.
(b)The sheriff's expense account, when submitted with the receipt
obtained under subsection (a) to the auditor of the county from which
the individual has been committed, shall be paid in the same manner
as payments for the original delivery of the individual to the facility are
paid.
