Text
(a)Each state institution shall establish a
charge structure for institutional services and treatment. The charge
structure must be approved by the director of the division before July
1 of each year and, once approved, the charge structure must be
effective for the following state fiscal year.
(b)Except as provided in section 5 of this chapter, each patient in
a state institution and the responsible parties, individually or
collectively, are liable for the payment of the charges for the treatment
and maintenance of the patient.
