Text

Upon presentation of a petition for the appointment of a guardian, the court may appoint either of the following as the guardian of the individual's estate:

(1)The superintendent of the state institution to which the individual has been committed.
(2)Another individual employed by the state institution in an administrative capacity. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-14-19-1 part.]
