§ 12-23-9-5 — Notification of family or next of kin
(a)If an individual is admitted to a certified
public treatment facility, the individual's family or next of kin shall be
notified as soon as possible.
(b)An adult patient who is not incapacitated may request that there
be no notification. The request shall be respected.
