Text
If the court determines that an individual is a drug abuser or an alcoholic and is likely to be rehabilitated through treatment, the court may do the following:
(1)Place the individual on probation under IC 35-38-2 and under
the supervision of the division for treatment.
(2)Require progress reports on the individual from the probation
officer and the division that the court finds necessary.
