Text
It is lawful to prescribe, dispense, or administer controlled substances for the treatment of drug abuse if the following conditions are met:
(1)The controlled substances are used for the treatment or
maintenance of a drug abuser.
(2)The treatment or maintenance is medically indicated.
(3)The treatment or maintenance is prescribed by a physician as
a part of a rehabilitation program approved by the director and
dispensed in compliance with the regulations for the dispensing
of controlled substances.
