§ 12-21-8-11 — Statewide 9-8-8 trust fund

(a)The statewide 9-8-8 trust fund is
established for purposes of creating and maintaining a statewide 9-8-8
suicide prevention and mental health crisis system described in this
chapter. The fund shall be administered by the division.
(b)The expenses of administering the fund shall be paid from
money in the fund.
(c)The treasurer of the state shall invest the money in the fund not
currently needed to meet the obligations of the fund in the same
manner as other public money may be invested. Interest that accrues
from the investments shall be deposited in the fund.
(d)The fund shall consist of the following:
(1)Appropriations made to the fund by the general assembly.
(2)Funds received from the federal government for the support
of 9-8-8 services in Indiana.
