The township trustee, as administrator of township assistance, in each township is responsible for the oversight and care of all poor individuals in the township as long as the individuals remain in the trustee's charge. The township trustee shall see that the individuals are properly taken care of in the manner required by law. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 12-2-1-6(a) part.]
