Text
(a)If a township trustee, who serves as
administrator of township assistance, is removed from office, resigns,
or in any other way vacates the office of township trustee, the township
trustee shall immediately deliver all books, papers, and other materials
concerning the office to the trustee's successor upon the successor's
appointment.
(b)If a township trustee, who serves as administrator of township
assistance, dies, the township trustee's executors or administrators
shall, not more than forty (40) days after the trustee's death, deliver all
materials belonging to the township trustee's office to the trustee's
successor in office.
