Text
If a financial or compliance audit required
under section 15 of this chapter discloses negligence or unlawful
conduct in the approval of or receipt of township assistance, the
management committee shall file a copy of the audit with the
prosecuting attorney and with the attorney general. If the attorney
general finds that criminal or civil charges should be filed and the
prosecuting attorney fails to file the charges, the attorney general shall
file the charges.
