Text

(a)A township assistance control board is established for each distressed township. The governor shall appoint the following members to the control board:
(1)The budget director or the director's designee, who shall serve as the chairman of the board.
(2)One (1) representative of the state board of accounts.
(3)One (1) representative of the department.
(4)One (1) representative of the division of family resources.
(5)One (1) elected public official of the county.
(6)One (1) township trustee.
(7)One (1) individual who:
(A)resides in the county or is employed in the county by an employer paying taxes in the county; and
(B)is or agrees to become familiar with township assistance.
(8)The township trustee of the distressed township, who shall serve as a nonvoting ex officio member of
