Text

(a)Sections 22 through 28 of this chapter create an exclusive administrative remedy for the payment of unpaid claims of creditors for the following goods and services that were provided under the authority of IC 12-2-1 (before its repeal) or this article before the township became a controlled township:
(1)Food, including prepared food and special dietary food.
(2)Clothing.
(3)Shelter.
(4)Water, gas, and electric services for lighting, heating, and cooking.
(5)Household supplies, including first aid and medical supplies for injury and illness.
(6)Medical and surgical attendance.
(7)Nursing care prescribed by a physician.
(8)School lunches.
(9)Transportation to allow a township assistance recipient to seek or accept employment.
(10)Feed for livestock.
