Text

(a)The management committee and the control board shall adopt rules as required by sections 15 and 30 of this chapter. The management committee and the control board may each adopt rules to administer the township assistance program in a controlled township. IC 4-22-2 does not apply to the rules. Rules adopted under this section must be:
(1)written;
(2)signed by the governor; and
(3)published in the Indiana Register not more than sixty (60) days after the rules are signed by the governor.
(b)Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, an individual may not receive township assistance from a controlled township until the applicant for assistance qualifies under eligibility standards established under rules adopted under subsection (a).
