§ 12-20-16-8 — Incompetent head of family; alternate food purchase order issuance
(a)If an applicant or a household is
considered by the township trustee, as administrator of township
assistance, to be incompetent or irresponsible to select food from a
combined grocery and meat market or to make proper use of food
stamps, the township trustee, as administrator of township assistance,
shall issue the food purchase order in the name of one (1) of the
following:
(1)Another adult member of the household.
(2)Another relative living in another household.
(3)Any other individual considered competent by the township
trustee, as administrator of township assistance.
(b)For the purpose of selecting the combined grocery and meat
market in a township having a population of more than ten thousand
(10,000) from which food for the household is to be obtained, the
