Text
As used in this section, "conversion" means:
(1)the permanent closure of a Medicaid funded intermediate care
facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities bed, including
intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual
disabilities licensed under IC 16-28-2, facilities licensed under IC 12-28-5 and certified under Title XIX of the Social Security Act
(42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq.) as an intermediate care facility for
individuals with intellectual disabilities, and state institutions; and
(2)the use of the state funds that paid the state share of Medicaid
funding for the beds described in subdivision (1) to fund the
expansion of the number of individuals receiving waiver services
under an intermediate care facility for individuals with
intellectual disabilities Medicaid
