The criteria and standards developed under section 28(a)(3) of this chapter for appropriate prescribing that are implemented must reflect the local practices of physicians to monitor the following:

(1)Therapeutic appropriateness.
(2)Overutilization or underutilization.
(3)Therapeutic duplication.
(4)Drug-disease contraindications.
(5)Drug-drug interactions.
(6)Incorrect drug dosage or duration of drug treatment.
(7)Clinical abuse and misuse.
