Text

(a)Subject to subsection (b), an appointment to the commission expires in accordance with section 5 of this chapter, but a member serves until the member's successor is designated.
(b)A member of the commission serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority who appointed the member to the commission.
(c)A vacancy on the commission shall be filled by the appropriate appointing authority. An individual appointed to fill a vacancy serves for the unexpired term of the individual's predecessor. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 12-1-13-1(d) part.]
