Text

The commission shall be appointed as follows:

(1)Sixteen (16) members shall be appointed by the administrator of the office as follows:
(A)Six (6) members representing Medicaid providers, with no more than one (1) representative of each Medicaid type.
(B)Two (2) members representing managed care entities.
(C)Two (2) members representing:
(i)state or local consumer advocacy groups; or
(ii)other community based organizations; that represent the interests of, or provide direct service to, Medicaid beneficiaries.
(D)Six (6) members of the Medicaid beneficiary advisory commission established by IC 12-15-33.3-2.
(2)Two (2) members of the senate appointed by the president pro tempore of the senate.
