Text
An individual who:
(1)has been found eligible for Medicaid under section 2, 3, 4, 5,
or 6 (expired) of this chapter; and
(2)is a patient in an institution for people with an intellectual
disability or who is a patient in a medical institution, as long as
the institution or that part of the institution in which the patient
resides qualifies as an intermediate care facility for mental
retardation under Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act (42
U.S.C. 1396 et seq.);
is eligible to receive Medicaid.
