Text
(a)Money received from a Medicaid
recipient or collected from the recipient's estate shall be:
(1)forwarded to the office; and
(2)paid into the Medicaid account of the state general fund.
(b)Money under subsection (a) must be distributed in proportion to
the amounts in which the assistance payments represented money
contributed by the federal government and the state.
