§ 12-14-30-8 — Simplified requirements for SNAP certification or recertification
(a)As used in this section, "eligible
individual" means an individual who:
(1)is:
(A)sixty (60) years of age or older; or
(B)a person with a disability, as determined under rules
adopted by the division; and
(2)resides in a household every resident of which is:
(A)sixty (60) years of age or older; or
(B)a person with a disability, as determined under rules
adopted by the division.
(b)The division shall develop and implement simplified
requirements by which an eligible individual may certify or recertify
the individual's eligibility for SNAP benefits.
(c)The simplified requirements under subsection (b) must:
(1)simplify and reduce the number of verification requirements
for certifying and recertifying an eligible individual's eligibility to
receive SNAP benefits, including by use
