Text

(a)The state accepts the provisions and benefits of the federal Social Security Act, the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, and any related federal law concerning needy and persons with disabilities and general public and child welfare.
(b)A law described under subsection (a) shall be construed to secure to the state and local units of government maximum participation in the benefits of the laws.
(c)If required by law, a proportionate share of refunds, recoveries, or repayments of assistance or administration costs shall be repaid to a federal agency on the basis of federal participation in the costs. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 12-1-2-13.]
