Text
An accredited nonpublic school may do one
(1)or more of the following:
(1)Designate one (1) or more individuals to obtain school safety
specialist certification under section 13 of this chapter to perform
school safety specialist duties under this chapter.
(2)Establish a school safety plan in accordance with section 10
of this chapter.
(3)Establish a safe school committee.
(4)Submit a school safety plan to the county school safety
commission having jurisdiction over the accredited nonpublic
school.
(5)Request to join the county school safety commission having
jurisdiction over the accredited nonpublic school or be
represented by another accredited nonpublic school's school
safety specialist on the same commission.
(6)Request general guidance relating to school safety matters
