Text
The executive director shall appoint a director of the office. The director shall do the following:
(1)Serve as the executive head of the office.
(2)Advise executive state agencies and political subdivisions
regarding state best practices concerning matters relating to
school safety.
(3)Oversee the duties of the office and coordinate school safety
resources in consultation with other state agencies and provide
leadership regarding school safety matters.
