§ 10-18-6-1 — Requirements; purposes
A veterans association established under this chapter must meet the following requirements:
(1)The association must be formed by at least three (3)
individuals who:
(A)served in the military or naval forces of the United States
during any war or campaign; and
(B)are residents of Indiana.
(2)The association must have written articles of association that
comply with the requirements under this chapter.
(3)The association must be formed for any of the following
purposes:
(A)To acquire, own, maintain, and administer homes, assembly
halls, or schools.
(B)To provide care, protection, education, and general welfare
for indigent and helpless soldiers, sailors, marines, or nurses
who served in the military or naval forces of the United States
