§ 10-18-4-4 — Real property acquisition; law governing contracts
(a)The board of public works of a city, in the
acquisition of real property as authorized by this chapter, shall acquire
the real property under the statutes applicable to the city for acquisition
of real property by donation, purchase, or condemnation.
(b)Except as provided in this chapter, the board of public works, in
the construction of a memorial structure authorized by this chapter,
shall act under the statutes related to the letting of contracts for public
work applicable to the city.
