Text

(a)A county executive may appropriate, without any appropriation by the county council of the funds of the county for a world war memorial and other public purposes.
(b)Funds appropriated for a world war memorial may not exceed one-half of one percent (0.5%) of the adjusted value of taxable property of the county, to be determined under IC 36-1-15.
(c)The county shall use the funds appropriated to acquire real estate and construct structures for a world war memorial and other public purposes, as authorized by this chapter. [Pre-2003 Recodification Citation: 10-7-1-2.]
