§ 10-16-13-5 — Commissions of officers
(a)The commissions of the battalion officers
shall be issued by the governor upon the recommendation of the
commandants and of the chairman of the board of trustees of the
school.
(b)The commissions of cadet officers may be issued by the
commandant. However, a cadet officer may not acquire any authority
over militiamen other than a cadet of the school because of the issuance
of the commission of cadet officer.
