§ 10-14-3-20 — Evacuation plans; traffic rules
Indiana·Title 10 PUBLIC SAFETY·Art. 14 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT·Ch. 3 Emergency Management and Disaster Law
The governor may:
(1)formulate and execute plans and regulations for the control of
traffic in order to provide for the rapid and safe movement of
evacuation over public highways and streets of:
(A)people;
(B)troops; or
(C)vehicles and materials;
for national defense or for use in any defense industry; and
(2)coordinate the activities of the departments or agencies of the
state and political subdivisions of the state concerned directly or
indirectly with public highways and streets in a manner that will
best effectuate the plans.
