As used in this chapter, "Combined DNA Index System" refers to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's national DNA identification index system that allows the storage and exchange of DNA records submitted by state and local forensic DNA laboratories. [Pre-2003 Recodification Citation: 10-1-9-1.]
