§ 10-13-3-26 — Release of data to criminal justice agencies
Indiana·Title 10 PUBLIC SAFETY·Art. 13 STATE POLICE DATA AND INFORMATION·Ch. 3 Criminal History Information
(a)A criminal justice agency:
(1)shall provide criminal history data to another criminal justice
agency upon request; and
(2)may receive criminal history data from another criminal
justice agency.
(b)If the request is made by an agency doing a presentence
investigation, the information shall be transmitted not later than seven
(7)days after the date that the request is received.
(c)The department shall provide criminal history data to a criminal
justice agency making a request if the council determines that the
agency has complied with this chapter.
