Text

(a)This section applies to the issuance of a citation for a traffic violation under:
(1)IC 9; or
(2)a local ordinance that corresponds to a provision under IC 9.
(b)The department may not give greater consideration to the number of citations (as defined in IC 9-28-2-1), including:
(1)a summons;
(2)a ticket; or
(3)any other official document; arising from a parking or standing violation that a law enforcement officer issues than to any other factor in the evaluation of the law enforcement officer's performance. [Pre-2003 Recodification Citation: 10-1-1-26.]
