§ 10-11-2-14 — Training school

Indiana·Title 10 PUBLIC SAFETY·Art. 11 STATE POLICE·Ch. 2 State Police Department
(a)The superintendent, with the approval of the board, shall organize and maintain a training school for police employees of the department.
(b)A police employee may not be assigned to regular active duty until the police employee receives the training and successfully passes the course for probationers prescribed by the superintendent.
(c)Training courses, other than for probationers, shall be prescribed and conducted by the superintendent for all police employees of the department. [Pre-2003 Recodification Citation: 10-1-1-5.]
