Text
The rules of construction that apply in this State to the interpretation of wills and the disposition of property by will also apply as appropriate to the interpretation of the trust instrument and the disposition of the trust property. This Code shall be liberally construed and the rule that statutes in derogation of the common law shall be strictly construed does not apply.
