Illinois·Topic RIGHTS AND REMEDIES·Ch. 755 ESTATES·Act 755 ILCS 5/ Probate Act of 1975.·Art. Article XI - Minors
Venue.) If the minor is a resident of this State, the proceeding shall be instituted in the court of the county in which he resides. If the minor is not a resident of this State, the proceeding shall be instituted in the court of a county in which his real or personal estate is located.
