§ 15-5-30 — Eminent domain powers in ILCS Chapters 505 through 525

The following provisions of law may include express grants of the power to acquire property by condemnation or eminent domain: (515 ILCS 5/1-145); Fish and Aquatic Life Code; Department of Natural Resources; for fish or aquatic life purposes. (520 ILCS 5/1.9); Wildlife Code; Department of Natural Resources; for conservation, hunting, and fishing purposes. (520 ILCS 25/35); Habitat Endowment Act; Department of Natural Resources; for habitat preservation with the consent of the landowner. (525 ILCS 30/7.05); Illinois Natural Areas Preservation Act; Department of Natural Resources; for the purposes of the Act. (525 ILCS 40/3); State Forest Act; Department of Natural Resources; for State forests.
