(a)In counties with populations of 2,000,000 or more inhabitants, the court may, after consideration of the factors set forth in paragraph (c), require as a condition of probation that a person participate in the Probation Challenge Program. Upon imposing such condition on the person, the court shall provide the person with the address of the Program's offices and the name of the Counselor Supervisor of the Program, and require that the person present himself to the Counselor Supervisor at such address by the close of office hours on the immediately succeeding day during which the Program maintains regular office hours.
