(a)The Department of Corrections must, by rule, adopt standards and procedures for the provision of mental health and developmental disability services to persons with mental illness and persons with a developmental disability confined in a county jail as set forth under Section 3-7-7 of this Code. The Department of Juvenile Justice must, by rule, adopt standards and procedures for the provision of mental health and developmental disability services to persons with mental illness and persons with a developmental disability confined in a juvenile detention facility as set forth under Section 3-7-7 of this Code.
