§ 3-12-15 — Personally identifiable information

(a) For purposes of this Section, "personally identifiable information" includes, without limitation, the following with respect to any individual: (1) Address. (2) Telephone number. (3) Fax number. (4) E-mail address. (5) Driver's license number. (6) Social Security Number. (7) Credit card number. (8) Credit history and credit rating. (9) Insurance information. (10) Information on purchasing habits. (11) Automobile registration information. (12) Vehicle identification number of any vehicle owned or leased by the individual. (b) The Department may not assign or permit any committed person to enter any personally identifiable information in a computer processible medium or any other medium, nor may any other governmental entity or any private organization assign or permit any person committed to the Department to enter any personally identifiable information in a computer processible medium or any other medium pursuant to an interagency agreement or contract with the Department. (c) This Section applies to all contracts and interagency agreements entered into by the Department before the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1999 and still in existence on that date as well as to all contracts and interagency agreements entered into by the Department on or after that date.
