Violent acts against employees of facilities under the Department's jurisdiction. Within 6 months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly, the Department shall adopt rules prescribing the procedures for reporting, investigating, and responding to violent acts against employees of facilities under the Department's jurisdiction. As used in this Section, "violent acts" has the meaning ascribed to that term in the Health Care Workplace Violence Prevention Act.
