§ 23f

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS·Act 70 ILCS 3705/ Public Water District Act.

Whenever revenue bonds are issued under Section 23e of this Act, the income and revenue derived from the operation of the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the district shall be used only (1) to pay the cost of operation and maintenance of the system;

(2)to pay principal of and interest on any revenue bonds issued hereunder;
(3)to provide an adequate depreciation fund; and (4) to create and maintain such reasonable reserves as may be provided in the ordinance authorizing the issuance of the bonds, including, without limitation, a bond reserve fund and a reserve for proposed future improvements and extensions to the system in accordance with a master plan, as the same may be amended or revised from time to time, duly approved by ordinance or resolution of the board of trustees.
