§ 234 — District enlarged

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS·Act 70 ILCS 2605/ Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
(a)As of August 18, 1978, the corporate limits of the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago are hereby extended so as to embrace and include within the same the territory situated in County of Cook and State of Illinois, described as follows: The East half of the North half of the South West Quarter of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian and also that part of the North West Quarter of said Section 28 described as follows: Beginning at the South East corner thereof, thence North 1.25 degrees, West. 6.94 chains; thence West 20.17 chains; thence South 1.25 degrees, East 6.94 chains; thence East 20.17 chains to place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois.
