§ 176 — District enlarged
Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 70 SPECIAL DISTRICTS·Act 70 ILCS 2605/ Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
As of July 13, 1955, the corporate limits of the Sanitary District of Chicago are hereby extended so as to embrace and include within the same the territory and tracts of land situated in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, hereinafter described as follows: Section Seventeen (17) (except the North half (N1/2) of the North East Quarter (NE1/4) of said Section Seventeen (17); the North East Quarter (NE1/4) of Section Eighteen (18); the South 660 feet lying East of the Southwest Highway of Section Seven (7); and the South 660 feet of the South West Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Eight (8), all in Township thirty seven (37) North, Range Thirteen (13), East of the Third Principal Meridian, situated in the County of Cook and State of Illinois.
