§ 21-23 — Salaries of alderpersons

The alderpersons in office when this Article is adopted and the alderpersons elected under the provisions of this Article may receive for their services such compensation as shall be fixed by ordinance, at the rate of not to exceed eight thousand dollars per annum for each alderperson.
