NO -------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The corporate authorities shall cause the result of the canvass to be entered on the records of the city. If a majority of the votes cast at the election favor incorporation as a city under the general law, the city is incorporated under this Code. Thereupon, the city officers then in office shall exercise the powers conferred upon like officers in this Code, until their successors are elected and have qualified.
