The corporate authorities of each municipality may control the property of the corporation and may provide for joint ownership with any one or more park districts of real and personal property used for park purposes by such park district or districts. In case of joint ownership, the terms of the agreement shall be fair, just and equitable to all parties and shall be set forth in a written agreement entered into by the corporate authorities of each participating district and municipality.
