Text

Every municipality that has a population exceeding 40,000; and every municipality with a population of 12,500 or more but less than 25,000 that (i) is located in a county with a population of 250,000 or more but less than 260,000 and (ii) does not levy a property tax; has the power to acquire, construct, manage, control, maintain, and operate within its corporate limits a municipal convention hall or halls.
