If any architect or builder violates any of the provisions of this Division 38, he shall be guilty of a petty offense for each offense. If any plumber or other person interested in the plumbing work, violates any of the provisions of this Division 38, he shall be guilty of a petty offense for the first offense, and the further penalty of $10 for each day the plumber or other interested person, after first conviction, neglects or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of this Division 38, or the written instructions of the examining board or officer, and for the second offense, a like penalty and a forfeiture of his license to do business in that city for one year after conviction.
