Any municipality which has heretofore adopted "An Act providing for community nurses in certain cities, villages and incorporated towns, and permitting a tax therefor," approved June 30, 1925, as amended, shall be treated as having adopted this Division 18. The registered nurses appointed to act as community nurses under that Act, who were so acting immediately prior to January 1, 1942, shall continue to so act under this Division 18.
